Beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain Range

These pictures are of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain Range of Western NC.

You can see why they are called Blue Ridge, due to the distinct blue hue of these mountains.

If you see the sun, these are at sunset. But, most of these pictures are between 5-15 minutes after sunset, when I capture the reflection of the sunset over the Smoky Mountains. The colors change in reverse order of ROY G BIV, for you wavelength aficionados. 

A couple of these were taken while in my birthday suit, coming out of the shower, looking out the window. Make hay while the sun shines! 

Choice of glass vs. acrylic glass matters. Acrylic glass can be hung in windows to allow light to invigorate the photo. Acrylic glass is available in larger sizes. Glass has a black background which precludes window hanging, but glass pictures are slightly more vivid.
